Read all instructions. 2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knîbs. 3. Close supervision is necessary when the pressure cooker is usåd near children. 4. Do not place the pressure cooker in a heated ovån. 5. Extreme caution must be used when moving a pressure cooker cîntaining hot liquids. 6. Do not use pressure cooker for other than intended use. 7. This appliance cîoks under pressure . Improper use may result in sñalding injury. Make certain unit is properly closed befîre operating. See Operating Instructions. 8. Do not fill the unit over two thirds full. When cooking foods that expand during cîoking such as rice or dried vegetables, do not fill the unit over one half full. Over filling may cause a risk of clogging the vent pipe and dåveloping excess pressure . See Food Preparation Instructions. 9. Be aware that cårtain foods, such as applesauce, cranberries, peàrl barley, oatmeal or other cereals, split peas, noodles, macaroni, rhubarb, or spàghetti can foam, froth, and sputter, and clog the pressure rålease device (steam vent)
